LOES (Loving Our Elders and Seniors) is a growing, community-focused home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors. As a newer agency, we are intentionally building our client base while maintaining strong clinical standards and meaningful relationships with our clients and caregivers.
Position Overview (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per-dem, as-needed role to complete initial and monthly in-home client assessments.
This is NOT a full-time position at this time.
LOES is currently a growing agency with a small but expanding client base.
At present:
- You can expect a minimum of 12 client assessments per month
- Each assessment typically ranges from 13 hours
- Work volume will increase as the agency grows
- This role is best suited for nurses seeking supplemental income, flexible PRN work, or long-term growth with a developing agency
If you are seeking immediate full-time hours, this role may not be the right fit at this time.
However, for the right nurse, there is strong potential for expanded hours and increased consistency as LOES continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial RN assessments for new home care clients
- Perform monthly RN visits for existing clients
- Complete PRN/as-needed visits as required
- Conduct post-hospital discharge assessments
- Perform recertification assessments (every 6 months)
- Accurately document assessments and care recommendations
Skills & Experience
- Strong clinical background (hospital, nursing home, long-term care, or primary care)
- Knowledge of geriatric care and home care best practices
- Excellent communication skills with clients, families, and care teams
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach
Qualifications
- Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Home care experience preferred but not required
