Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding Contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Aurora, CO. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, looking to make a positive impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, providing speech and language therapy
- Strong knowledge of developmental speech and language disorders
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- State licensure and any required school endorsements applicable for educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students across grades K-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, track progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student communication goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies and professional standards
