Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Able to manage front desk, scheduling, and greeting of patients.</li>
<li>Answer phone calls, checking voicemails, reviewing faxes, and collecting payments of daily patients.</li>
<li>File, scan, fax documents, prepare medical files, while maintaining confidentiality</li>
<li>Escort patients to exam rooms, record medical history, check vital signs and take labs if needed</li>
<li>Assist in basic procedures and examinations</li>
<li>Prepare specimens for lab tests, administering medications, and sterilizing instruments</li>
<li>Maintain inventory, answering phones, greeting patients, and explaining medical information</li>
</ul>
​Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields</li>
<li>Familiarity with medical billing procedures</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Certified as a Medical Assistant</li>
</ul>
