Title: CNC Machinist
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Role Summary
- Set up & operate CNC machines to meet blueprint and customer specs
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards in an aerospace environment
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate & edit CNC programs (mills/lathes)
- Read blueprints, specs & in-process documents
- Use measuring tools & operate CMM
- Troubleshoot setups; improve or fabricate fixtures
- Perform basic programming (tools, speeds, feeds)
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, Lean & 5S+1 standards
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Assist/train other operators
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years CNC machining, setup & program editing
- Strong blueprint reading & measurement skills
- Basic computer, math & electronics knowledge
- Lean/continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent in English (read/write/speak)
