Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour + tips
Position Summary:
Beach Happy Café is seeking friendly, energetic, and reliable Baristas to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage items while delivering exceptional customer service in a fun, fast-paced, beachside environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages to standard
- Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive and welcoming attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service areas
- Restock supplies such as cups, lids, syrups, and ingredients
- Assist with light food prep and running orders when needed
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of coffee and espresso drinks is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
