We are looking for a Stack/Assembly Technician who will perform the assembly process utilizing engineering drawings and process specifications in the manufacturing of heat exchanger cores, to include inspecting, protecting, wrapping, packaging, and cleaning of piece parts.
This position also requires the aptitude to learn the to operate equipment utilized in the manufacturing of core assemblies as well. This is a unique opportunity for the right person.
Essential Responsibilities:
•Positions and assembles parts according to special engineering instructions, routings and engineering process specifications
•Repairs products when needed
•Cleans, assembles as required
•Inspects all parts for cleanliness and accuracy per engineering drawings
•Sends completed products to test or to quality assurance for final inspection
•Measures parts to specified tolerances
•Uses equipment such as stack fixtures, gauges/calipers, and other bench equipment
•Communication with manufacturing Supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments
•Assist in other areas of the shop to ensure units are shipped in accordance with customer and business requirements
•Basic computer skills
Desired Requirements:
•High school diploma, GED
•Pass random drug/alcohol testing
•One year of basic repair in a FAA 145 repair shop (preferred; not required)
•Compliance and safety experience a plus
•Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
