Pay Rate: $50 – $60 per hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (CWR) to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, maintaining radiation protection standards, and delivering excellent patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations by accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors.

• Operate X-ray imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

• Minimize radiation exposure to non-affected areas through proper collimation and shielding techniques.

• Perform portable X-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and other clinical environments as needed.

• Accurately label and identify images with correct patient information and anatomical markers.

• Process and manage radiographic images using appropriate imaging systems.

• Prepare radiopaque contrast media and assist physicians with contrast administration when required.

• Assist with patient scheduling, preparation, and education regarding imaging procedures.

• Provide assistance to patients with mobility limitations to ensure safe positioning during procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment in accordance with departmental policies.

• Follow established patient care standards and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Completion of clinical training and ARRT eligibility requirements.

• Active New Jersey State X-Ray License.

• Eligible for ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic imaging experience.

• Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills.
