KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Experience Gurus: Greet guests with enthusiasm, seat them promptly, handle special requests, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere.
- Room Service Rockstars: Master the menu and P.O.S. system, deliver top-tier room service, and answer calls with style and a smile.
- Buffet & Table Titans: Set up and maintain buffet stations, clear and reset tables, and keep dining areas fully stocked and tidy.
- Uniform Heroes: Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
- Safety & Standards Superstars: Attend shifts reliably, follow company procedures for safe operations, and ensure menus and stations are clean and presentable.
- Cash-Closing Commanders & Team Players: Handle cashiering and paperwork, perform opening/closing duties, and support team operations through meetings and extra tasks.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel or related experience is a plus.
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages and successfully complete responsible serving certification (e.g., TIPs), as required by the property.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively.
- Skilled at evaluating options and making quick, accurate decisions, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Effective listener with strong interpersonal skills for understanding and addressing concerns from both co-workers and guests.
- Ability to understand financial information and perform basic arithmetic functions while maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure.
