Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students within a K-8 educational setting focused on serving individuals with severe behavioral needs. This contract position spans the current school year and involves working closely with a Behavior Specialist under BCBA supervision.
Location:
- York, PA area (K-8 Schools)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students displaying severe behaviors.
- Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity under BCBA guidance.
- Flexibly float between multiple schools within the district.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote positive student outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation and data collection for progress monitoring.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Prior experience working as an RBT in a school environment is required.
- Comfort working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 4, 2026.
- Work hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Position is grant funded.
