A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is needed to provide services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a Midlothian, VA school setting. This contract position spans the full school year and focuses on supporting pediatric speech and language development within an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in pediatric or school settings, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) or relevant practicum
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders common in children and adolescents
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans according to educational and therapeutic goals
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Licensure compliant with state and federal regulations for school-based therapy services
Primary Responsibilities:
