Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role serves as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations. The PIC functions as a clinical pharmacist within an innovative environment focused on developing and implementing systems that enhance patient care and pharmacy services. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading pharmacy operations while ensuring adherence to core values and mission.
- Fostering a collaborative organizational structure with accountability across multiple leaders.
- Supporting continuous improvement by sharing best practice ideas and standardizing processes, procedures, and policies.
- Participating in internal and external meetings such as conferences and trainings.
- Driving initiatives that improve patient and employee experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management with recent experience as Pharmacy Manager or PIC; 10+ years preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications; candidate should be open to further specialized training.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy environment.
- Active and valid California pharmacy license required.
Location: Nellis Air Force Base, NV
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
This direct hire opportunity offers a compensation range between $165,000 to $180,000 annually, plus quarterly performance-based bonuses.
