Job Description
We are looking to hire five soldering technicians for the 1st shift. Candidates must have prior experience with soldering, either surface mount or through-hole techniques. The position is within the 're-work' department where employees will hand solder components on printed circuit boards. A significant portion of the work will require using a microscope, so candidates must be comfortable with this task. High attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, and the ability to follow blueprints are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering on printed circuit boards using surface mount or through-hole techniques.
- Work under a microscope for detailed soldering tasks.
- Follow blueprints accurately to complete tasks.
- Ensure high precision and attention to detail in all soldering activities.
- Complete certification in soldering within the 600-hour probationary period.
Essential Skills
- Experience in soldering, electronic assembly, and production.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tasks frequently.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and moderate noise levels. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 pm. Overtime is mandatory and typically completed after the shift, although there is flexibility to start earlier if preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
