Responsible for processing payroll and accounts payable for both the church and the adjacent Daycare.
Additional Responsibilities:
Church:
Reports and deposits as required by the IRS
Complete Reports and forms relating to financial matters for TriWest Association, SBC, etc
Prepare a financial report for the Church Conference (monthly)
Record all Accounting transactions
Retain all church-owned credit cards and issue and sign out as required
Primary contact for all financial questions and issues
Member of the finance committee
Attend church staff meetings
Daycare:
Accounts payable to include state taxes and federal tax deposits
Take payments, record and make deposits, and send late payment notices
Record all Accounting transactions
Primary contact for financial questions and issues
Primary contact for all accounting-related reports
Attend Daycare meetings
Additional Administrative Duties for the Church:
Order literature and supplies as required. Open and distribute upon arrival.
Assist with special projects as requested by committee chairmen, staff, and officers of the church.
Serve as backup to the Secretary for incoming calls, visits by members or vendors
Notify the secretary regarding illnesses, deaths and special prayer requests. In the absence of the
secretary, notify the staff, deacon or others as required.
In conjunction with other staff members, the custodian and other committee chairpersons assist in
locating and obtaining materials, supplies and services at the most favorable price available.
Be the "go-to" person for questions in the absence of the pastor or secretary.
