Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Reading, PA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the upcoming academic school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support the educational and emotional well-being of students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address behavioral and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state
- Experience providing psychological services within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
