Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Self - Contained Special Education Teacher//Work Location:Burbank, IL

Pay: $31-$41+ an hour (Commensurate with experience)

37.5 Hours/weekResponsibilities:

Caseload: High School // Self - ContainedClassroom

• Students age 18 - 22
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students
• Counsels with colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis
• Self Contained classroomexperience
• Implements students' IEP plans, while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner, which motivates students to learn and participate
• Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be licensed in Early Childhood(Must have Early Childhood Endorsement on license)
• Bachelors level degree in Special Education
