Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a school setting in Olivehurst, CA. This contract position focuses on supporting students with communication disorders, helping them improve their speech, language, and overall communication skills to enhance their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- State licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
