Job Description

The Opportunity

Capital Trailer & Equipment is looking for a high-performing A-Level Closer to lead our sales efforts in Helena. This isn’t just a "wait-for-the-phone-to-ring" job. We are looking for a hybrid pro who can master high-volume inbound leads while aggressively hunting B2B fleet and commercial accounts.

If you are a self-managed competitor who understands that "following up" is a science and "closing" is an art, you’ll find a massive income ceiling and a professional home here.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute the Full Cycle: Convert walk-ins, phone calls, and digital leads into high-margin sales.
  • Hunt B2B & Fleet: Proactively build relationships with contractors, municipalities, ranch/ag operations, and trades. This is the engine of our growth.
  • Manage the Pipeline: Maintain "zero-leak" lead management. Fast follow-ups, meticulous CRM notes, and professional handoffs are non-negotiable.
  • Master the Product: Quickly become an expert on trailers, truck beds, and basic parts/repairs to provide consultative solutions that build trust.
  • Optimize Inventory: Partner with ownership to plan orders, maximize inventory turns, and protect gross profit (avoiding "lot rot").

What "Success" Looks Like

  • Velocity: You keep the lot moving and the margins healthy.
  • Ownership: You don't need a "boss" to tell you to make calls; you treat the territory like your own business.
  • Consistency: You build a "moat" of repeat B2B accounts that come to you every time they expand their fleet.

Requirements (The Non-Negotiables)

  • Proven Track Record: Tangible success in high-ticket sales (Trailers, RVs, Powersports, Automotive, Ag, or Construction Equipment).
  • B2B Grit: You are comfortable on job sites, responding to bid requests, and managing long-term commercial accounts.
  • High EQ/Communication: You can talk shop with a rancher and professional strategy with a fleet manager.
  • Reliability: You are in-person, M–F, 8–5, ready to win.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target Total Comp: $75,000 – $150,000+ (Uncapped).
  • Flexible Structure: We offer a "Choose Your Adventure" comp plan. Higher base for stability, or higher commission % for the ultimate hunter.
  • Quality of Life: Rare M–F schedule in an industry that usually steals your weekends.
  • Relocation: We are open to assisting the right candidate in moving to beautiful Helena, MT.
  • Benefits: Open to negotiation

How To Apply (The "A-Player" Filter)

We only hire pros. If you do not follow these steps exactly, you will not receive a response. Send the following to capitaltrailerexec@gmail.com:

  1. Intro & Resume: A brief summary of your background.
  2. The Numbers: Your total sales volume over the last 12 months, what you sold, and your average deal size.
  3. The Playbook: A brief example of your process for building B2B accounts.
  4. Comp Preference: Do you prefer a higher base or higher commission?
  5. The Video: A 60–90 second video explaining why you are the right fit and your biggest professional win to date.
