Warehouse Worker
- $19-21/hr (Depending on warehouse experience)
- Full-Time,(Temp to Hire) 40/hrs + Available OT
- 1st Shift, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm(30 min lunch break and two 10 min breaks)
- Monday - Friday
- Health, Dental, and Vision
- You will receive: Uniforms and Proper PPE
- ***MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND (7 years) + Drug Screening***
We are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses (Natural Stone Slab Yard), to increase our efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. As a warehouse worker, your daily tasks include preparing merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing, staging, and preparing finished products for shipping. You will be responsible for the effective distribution of products.
- Load and unload product for truck, flatbed, or container
- Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane
- Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments
- Repair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipments
- Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damage.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Clean and maintain a safe working area, ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to carry and lift up to 70 lbs. Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- 2+ years of experience with warehouse "heavy" equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc),
- Warehouse Inventory Control (RF Scanner, etc.)
