POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Psychiatrist
We are looking forPsychiatrist who can provide the following services:
- Medication Monitoring
- Prescribe Suboxone for substance abuse clients
- Psychiatric Evaluation
Creative Pathways, Inc. has a need for a full-time or part-time 1099 contractual licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is interested in being a part of our growing behavioral health team. Ideal candidates will have a strong administrative, medical and psychopharmacology skills. Applicant must possessan active DCRN license, DEA and CDS registration number for full consideration.
Creative Pathways, Inc. is seeking to hire a part-timeindependently licensed, contractual therapist to provide individual and family therapy. This is an independent, 1099-contractor position and requires a minimum of 10 hours per week of direct client contact, with considerable room to grow (up to full-time, if desired). This is a HYBRID position ~ sessions may temporarily be providedvirtually due to Covid 19. Ideally, applicantsMUST reside within 20 miles of Waldorf, MD and be able and willing to provide face to face sessions in the home, office or community if the client desires.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19, position will begin via telehealth and transition to in-person sessions upon termination of the local/national emergencies.
Preference will be given to practitioners with a CAQH profile and are credentialed / paneled with DCMedicaid, Medicare & BCBS and provide all requisite data.
We are a newish community based, outpatient clinic in Waldorf providing psychiatric mental healthcare for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of disorders andare looking for core team members who desire to grow with the agency long term.
Youwill enjoy a very flexible schedule with no on call work or weekend work (unless that is your preference), to help maintain a good work/life balance orso you can handle other part-time jobs you may have.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Psychiatric administrative and clinical services consisting of diagnostic assessmentof acute, episodic or chronic mental illnesses;Individual, Family, and Supportive Therapy; psychotropic medication management;monitoring of treatment adherence and assessment of risk;supervision of SUD practices protocols;treatment team supervision; involuntary commitment documentation; providing continuous clinical monitoring and administrative training as required by the State of Maryland.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate professional degree (MSN or DNP) from an accredited university
- Current,unrestricted, complete, and activestatenursing license
- Current ANCC Board Certification as a PMHNP in good standing
- Current/Active DEA & CDS Registration Numbers
- NPI
- Malpractice Insurance

- You are amenable to providing psychiatric services via HIPAA compliant video conferencing,allowing the you to work remotely
- Proficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking to be able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including clients, families, clinic staff and other healthcare professionals
- Possess strong computer skills, including working with word processing and data entering applications, as well as with (EMR) medical software applications
Rate:Contingent upon 1 year ofrelevant MD, POST CRNP-PMHLICENSURE E/M EXPERIENCE
Pay Frequency: Monthly upon submission of invoice
