Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Servicing Portfolio Specialist to join our Servicing team. In this borrower-facing role, you will manage a designated portion of the company’s loan portfolio, serving as the main point of contact for borrowers. You will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality, seamless borrower experience throughout the life of each loan, from initial funding through payoff or maturity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers in your assigned portfolio, ensuring consistent, professional, and responsive communication.
  • Deliver a seamless borrower experience by anticipating needs, resolving issues quickly, and maintaining clear, timely follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between borrowers, investors, and third-party servicers to ensure timely, accurate, and transparent communication and servicing actions.
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure timely collection of interest payments.
  • Track and manage loan maturities; process and document extension agreements as necessary.
  • Ensure borrower compliance with key loan covenants, including maintaining active property insurance and current tax payments.
  • Verify and update title and tax information to ensure all loans remain in good standing.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential issues, including payment delinquencies, lapsed insurance, or tax defaults.
  • Collaborate closely with Specialty Servicing / Loss Mitigation to maintain portfolio integrity and ensure smooth servicing workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in loan servicing systems.
  • Provide periodic reporting on portfolio performance and risk metrics.
  • Submit a prioritized list of action items related to your loan portfolio by 10:00 AM every Monday.
  • Present key metrics and status updates on your portfolio during the weekly Servicing team meeting.
