At Samaritan Health Services, we are seeking a dedicated Traveling Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. Your Role

As a Traveling Pharmacist, you will:

  • Prepare and dispense medications while adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Assess the clinical status of patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Provide essential drug information to the medical team and educate patients on their medications.
  • Travel between Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy sites, with varying shift times, including potential overnight shifts.

Plus, enjoy a $3.00 per hour float differential for hours worked!

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to participate in the pharmacy code response team (ACLS and PALS required).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen.
