Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
Essential Skills
- Proven stick welding experience in multiple positions on structural steel.
- Strong structural steel fabrication skills, including grinding, torch cutting, and assembly of steel structures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand the fabrication process from drawings.
- Proficient measuring skills to ensure accurate cutting and fitting of steel components.
- Experience operating scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts.
- Comfort working at heights while welding and assembling structures.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes to position and move steel safely.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as in a shop environment.
- Commitment to safe work practices and consistent use of required safety gear.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience constructing structural curtain walls or similar steel structures.
- Experience working with I-beams, square tubes, and steel angles in fabrication and assembly.
- Familiarity with using a variety of welding and fabrication tools in both shop and field settings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team on large-scale projects involving multiple departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and project plans accurately.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
