Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- 50% day/night rotation
- Up to 2 weekend shifts per month
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- At least 1 year of travel PACU experience
- Minimum of 1 year working within an Academic Medical Center setting
- Strong ability to care for post-anesthesia patients with excellent clinical skills
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor patients recovering from anesthesia to ensure stability and comfort
- Assess patient conditions and manage postoperative complications promptly
- Coordinate care and collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and inpatient teams
- Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation on all patient interactions and treatments
