Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Specifically responsible for preadmission testing for prepping patients for surgery
\n• Four 10-hour shifts preferred with varied shift schedules
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2
\n• Work with 15-bed unit in day surgery department
\n• Located on 2nd floor of main hospital building across from PACU
\n• EMR system: Meditech
\n• Perform recovery procedures
\n• Day surgery experience or PACU experience required
\n• May float to preadmission testing areas
\n• On call only - no regular weekend requirements
\n• Must have easy going and pleasant personality
\n• Follow ASPAN guidelines
\n• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
\n• No required certifications
