- P&L responsibility and ability to manage team to meet objectives
- Hire, train, and motivate employees of various skill levels
- Identify training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provide guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet goals and objectives
- Collaborate with district manager to set performance standards
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff
- Collaborate with other managers and district managers regarding advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
- Assists with start-up, development, and growth of new branches as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Required Skills and Education
- 3 years of experience as a branch manager, required
- Experience in lawn care, preferred
- Must have excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Must have effective and professional verbal and written communication
- Experience working with technology, including Microsoft applications, required
- Strong ability to remain organized, multitask, and deliver results in a timely manner
- Must be passionate about the Company's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission, and values to external and internal stakeholders
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodation
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Ability to walk on different terrains
- Ability to drive a company vehicle with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
