Director of Nursing

Location: Holyoke, MA

Schedule: Days | Full-time | 40 Hours


Contract Role : 13 weeks

Pay Rate : $80/hr - $85/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)


Requirements:

  • Adult and Adolescent Inpatient Psych experience required
  • Leadership experience required

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nursing clinical administration and supervision
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Program Director on fiscal planning and program development
  • Provide leadership in the areas of policy, procedure, training, budgeting, and staff development
  • Promote sound management, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability
  • Manage scheduling, orientation, communication, staff education, and performance evaluations
  • Step into delegated senior management responsibilities when needed


Qualifications:

  • Education: Active RN license in the State of Massachusetts required; BSN required
  • Experience:
  • Psychiatric/substance abuse inpatient experience required
  • CPR certification required
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation experience essential


Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, flexible, and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • Skilled in crisis management, delegation, coaching, and team leadership
