Job Type: Contract (Local / Travel Assignment)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift (5x8)
Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour (Based on experience)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technician to support a leading tertiary care hospital in Rochester, NY. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
Ensure proper patient positioning and high-quality imaging results
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and protection protocols
Document imaging procedures using the EPIC system
Prepare and assist patients before, during, and after procedures
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately during exams
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any malfunctions
Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Active X-Ray Technician license (required at start)
ARRT Certification (required)
BLS Certification (required)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Experience with EPIC charting system required
First-time travelers welcome
Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
