You’ll be part of a dedicated school team within an elementary building, guiding paraeducators and supporting a caseload of kindergarten through fifth-grade students, specializing in either Math or Literacy.
Qualifications/Desired Experience
- High school diploma required; college degree strongly preferred
- Special Education Teacher certification/license (as required by Colorado)
- Experience with K-5 populations preferred
- Ability to lead and collaborate with 3-4 paraprofessionals per class
- Background check through the district required upon offer acceptance
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as case manager for approximately 10 students, teaching up to 20 in total
- Specialize in Math or Literacy instruction
- Provide individualized education and advocate for students’ needs
- Lead, mentor, and support paraprofessional classroom team
- Engage in panel interviews (virtual, 3-10 district team members via Google Meets)
