Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items with attention to safety, sanitation, and presentation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent service and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and manage register operations with precision
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Assist in food handling, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
- Uphold sanitation standards by adhering to health regulations and proper food storage procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy are essential
- Background in customer service or retail environments demonstrates your ability to connect with guests effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations will support your success in this position
