About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about quality? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to help us maintain the highest standards of precision and excellence in our manufacturing process. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that every product we produce meets customer requirements and reflects the quality TSI Plastics is known for.


What You’ll Do

  • Complete first-article inspections to ensure products meet design and customer specifications.
  • Accurately record inspection results, identify nonconformances, and collaborate with production to resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers as needed to ensure requirements are met and issues are resolved.
  • Utilize computer-assisted inspection equipment, such as CMMs, articulating arms, and vision measuring machines.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using a wide range of tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, ring and pin gages, and more.
  • Perform and document receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet design and customer specifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold TSI’s commitment to quality in every process.

Requirements:

Requirements (What You’ll Bring)

  • Metrology background
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
  • Experience in quality inspection
  • First article experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection methodologies.
  • Experience with coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspection and programming.
  • History of ERP / MRP basic use is desired (systems such as - Job Boss, IQ, Epicor, Unipoint, or other.).

Salary Description

$25-$30 + per hour based on experience and ability to grow
