You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:\n • Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.\n • Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.\n • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.\n • Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems.\n • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.\n • Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary.\n • Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.\n • Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.\n • Be able to maintain patience and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.\n\n\nBenefits:\nTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
