As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel enclosures that house diesel generators and diesel fuel oil supply tanks. This role requires proficiency in layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and a tape measure from day one.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel enclosures and fuel oil supply tanks.
- Conduct layout and fitting tasks to prepare materials for welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to execute precise welding tasks.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively in the welding process.
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
Essential Skills
- Over two years of experience in MIG welding.
- Proficiency in layout and fitting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Capability to accurately read a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience from Welding School is a plus.
- Ability to pass a MIG weld pressure test.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
