Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Commercial Pipefitters in Hopkinsville, KY. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.
- Install chilled water piping systems with 3” grooved steel pipe, 2” and smaller copper piping, and miscellaneous threaded fittings.
- Need standard PPE and proper hand tools
- 5+ yrs of commercial Pipefitting experience
- Specific Systems:

- Working with water supply lines, drainage systems, and sewage systems.
- Installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
- Working with gas lines (requires specialized training and certification).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to talk or hear, stand, walk, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time to install and repair pipes and pipe fittings.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Must possess visual acuity required to inspect piping systems and read plans or blueprints.
- Dexterity: Cutting and threading pipes, attaching fittings, and welding seams
- Balance and agility: Working at heights and in awkward positions
- Hearing sensitivity: Being able to tell the difference between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness
- Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30 to $33 per hour, DOE
Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $30 to $33 per hour, DOE. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
