Were looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team and help keep our fulfillment process running smoothly.
Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. This position provides administrative and operational support to the warehouse fulfillment team, manages outbound shipping schedules, and coordinates with freight carriers to ensure timely pickups. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this role also supports cross-departmental tasks to improve shipping accuracy, operations visibility, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute sales order pick sheets for the Fulfillment Supervisor.
- Visually audit courier packages and match shipping documents and labels before daily pickups.
- Schedule outbound courier shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS).
- Coordinate and schedule outbound freight shipments with carriers.
- Communicate with customers and 3PL partners regarding third-party routed shipments.
- Update the ERP system and operational dashboards with real-time shipping information.
- Audit packaging tracker system to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor shipments, troubleshoot exceptions, and follow up with carriers and customers.
- Act as backup for Quality Control in final shipment inspections.
Qualifications:
- Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in navigating both Windows and macOS environments
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage)
- Knowledge of LTL shipping processes and logistics coordination
