A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLINIC ASSISTANT
As a Clinic Assistant, you are a vital part of our practice and help our dentists, hygienists and dental assistants be as productive and efficient as possible.
Your primary responsibilities include
- managing the flow of dental instruments through the sterilization process
- taking inventory of supplies and unpacking/restocking them when they arrive
- assisting hygienists with periodontal charting
- managing laboratory cases.
Occasionally you could be asked to assist with patient care by:
- tearing down/setting up operatories
- seating patients
- taking radiographs
- basic chairside assisting
