Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to support daily, monthly, and annual accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident working across general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries; support month-end and year-end close
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, prepaid assets, fixed assets, AP/AR, and accruals
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assist with variance analysis
  • Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Assist with tax filings, including sales tax and 1099s
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
  • Complete bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and inventory-related reconciliations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (GL, reconciliations, financial reporting)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end workflows
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas required; pivot tables preferred)
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Great Plains, Dynamics, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
