- Use saws, nail guns, and a variety of hand tools safely and efficiently to construct crates.
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure to cut materials accurately.

- Maintain a clean, organized work area and contribute to a well-ordered facility environment.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and materials.
- Construction experience or closely related hands-on experience that involves building or assembly work.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations, including handling outbound and inbound materials.
- Ability to safely operate saws, nail guns, and other hand tools used in crate construction.
- Proficiency using a tape measure and working accurately with measurements.
- Ability to think creatively and "outside the box" to design and build crates for various product configurations.
- Willingness and ability to train on and operate a forklift.
- Attention to detail and commitment to building sturdy, secure crates for safe product shipment.
- Steel-toe footwear, as it is required for this role.
Work Environment
The facility includes two primary areas dedicated to different product lines, such as instrumentation and filtration, and operates in a well-organized, structured layout. The environment is not temperature controlled, but conditions are generally moderate and not excessively hot or cold. You will work on a first-shift schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., using saws, nail guns, hand tools, tape measures, and forklifts as part of daily operations. Safety is a priority, and steel-toe footwear is required while working on the floor.
