Plant Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $141,000 - $192,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage the plant budget, control expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across all operational departments.
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment and facilities to maximize uptime.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in manufacturing operations management, including P&L responsibility.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, quality systems (e.g., ISO), and EHS regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
- Demonstrated experience with Industry 4.0 technologies or advanced manufacturing automation
- Previous experience managing operations in a unionized environment
- Proven track record in driving significant sustainability initiatives (e.g., waste reduction, energy efficiency)
