Position Overview

This is an entry-level, hands-on internship designed for students interested in construction, engineering, or skilled trades. You'll work outdoors with a survey crew supporting real construction projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist survey crews with layout and measurement on job sites
• Hold grade rods, prism poles, and measuring tools
• Help set stakes and markers for roads, utilities, and grading
• Learn to measure distances and elevations
• Support roadway, bridge, and utility construction projects
• Help maintain and transport survey equipment

What We're Looking For

• High school students or recent graduates (must be at least 18 years old)
• Interest in construction or hands-on outdoor work
• Basic math skills (measurement, addition/subtraction)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation preferred
