Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Shift: Day Shift (5x8-Hour)
Compensation
- Traveler Pay Rate: $55/hour
- Local Pay Rate: $45/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Middle School Math Teachers for a long-term contract assignment in a structured academic setting. The selected candidates will provide high-quality mathematics instruction, foster student engagement, and support academic achievement while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective middle school mathematics instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop, implement, and adapt daily lesson plans to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to support academic growth.
- Maintain classroom management and create a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
- Collaborate with administrators, faculty, and families to support student development and achievement.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and required school events.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Support school policies, procedures, and educational objectives.
Required QualificationsEducation & Certification
- Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) Teaching Certification required.
- Mathematics endorsement on teaching license required.
Skills & Experience
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning styles.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel.
