Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Certified Surgical Technician that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Harlingen, Texas. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Description:
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician
Location: Harlingen, Texas
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (5 × 8-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range for Traveler: $1,700.00- $1,828.00 Weekly DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain aseptic technique in the operating room
- Set up required equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies
- Scrub in and assist during surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons
- Pull cases as needed
- Break down and clean cases after procedures
- Prepare operating room and supplies for current and next-day schedule
Required Certification & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Surgical tech required.
- BLS
- CST certificate
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for on-call shifts as scheduled based on unit needs
