Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – travel assignment in a skilled nursing setting. Start date: 02/23/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,349–$2,540 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. This assignment is a temporary travel role under Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy addressing speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing needs; document progress in the charting system.
- Reassess and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress and goals.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nurses, therapeutic services, social work) to support resident outcomes.
- Educate residents and families about care plans, strategies to support communication, and safe swallowing approaches.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facility policies, and patient confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the applicable jurisdiction (state-specific) or the ability to obtain licensure for the assignment.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Experience in evaluating and treating communication disorders and dysphagia; experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and follow interdisciplinary care plans.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and relocate if required.
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with electronic health records; effective communication with residents, families, and the care team.
