Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a school setting located in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves working full-time throughout the next school year to support students, with a particular focus on those enrolled in Essential Life Skills programs within the Tippecanoe School Corporation. This position is ideal for certified Speech-Language Pathologists who are looking to impact the pediatric population in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
Collaborate with educators and other support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
Document student progress and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and maintain clear communication with families and school personnel.
Utilize teletherapy techniques when necessary to provide consistent care.

Qualifications:

Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, particularly in pediatric settings.
Familiarity with Essential Life Skills programs or similar educational programs is beneficial.
Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
