Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing in partnership with a prominent flour mill manufacturer in the Mount Vernon, IN, area, is seeking Mill Operator II to join their team!
Mill Operator Job Summary:
· Pay: $20.50/hour
· Shifts Available: 8-hour shifts, must be flexible to rotate shifts
Job Responsibilities:
- Train for advancement to Mill Operator I
- Operate, set up, adjust, and monitor wheat?processing machinery
- Maintain product quality through continuous process checks
- Perform GMP tasks, cleaning, and basic equipment repairs
- Follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form
Physical and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred
- Basic computer and math skills; prior plant experience helpful
- Ability to climb, lift, bend, kneel, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot/cold/dusty environments
- Strong attendance and productivity
- Must work rotating shifts, including weekends
