We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Assistant to support our radiology team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient preparation and provide general clinical support while maintaining a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered experience.
Position: Mammography Imaging Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: On-site Bedford Park
Schedule: MondayFriday, hours vary between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and guide patients through the mammography process
- Assist technologists with patient preparation and workflow
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and clinical safety standards
- Stock and maintain exam rooms and supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients, technologists, and providers
- Support infection control and safety protocols
- Assist with clerical and administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting
- Strong computer skills and time management abilities
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
