Overview

JOURNEYMAN PROGRAM MANAGER

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

Salary Range: $115-$125,000 annually

JOB STATUS: Full-time; Salaried

CLEARANCE: Secret

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Program Manager to directly support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD

RESPONSIBILITES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience with DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101
  • Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions. 
  • Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities. 
  • Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills. 
  • Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community. 
  • Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews. 
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews. 
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
  • Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
