Our client, a leading packaging solutions provider, is seeking a Packaging Technician to join their team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: St. Peters, MO
Pay Range: $16 - $17/hr
What's the Job?
- Operating production machines to make products (packing equipment, fillers, mixers, bottlers, pallet jacks, case erectors)
- Quality Assurance – Ensuring high standards are met
- Stacking and palletizing products as part of the production line
- Collaborating with team members to optimize production efficiency
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
What's Needed?
- 1+ year of machine operator experience in a production environment (packaging experience preferred)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Steel-Toe shoes
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and stand for long periods of time
- Background & Drug screen
