Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Naperville, IL. This contract role runs from September through December and involves a 35-hour workweek. The primary focus of this role is conducting evaluations for students within the elementary caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to interpret evaluation results and recommend appropriate interventions
- Providing data-driven insights to aid in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed to support student success
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Expertise in conducting evaluations for K-5 students within an elementary school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and best practices in school psychology
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to educators, parents, and students
- Experience working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
