Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position spans the complete school year (CSY), offering a chance to make a meaningful difference in the educational experience of children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
- Utilize specialized instructional techniques and resources to address a diverse range of learning challenges.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that supports social, emotional, and academic growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices in inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
