Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) certification in Illinois
- Background in Special Education teaching, with a strong understanding of IEPs and differentiated instruction
- Passion for promoting an inclusive, adaptive classroom culture
- Prior experience supporting early childhood, K-12, or transitional age students with special needs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Adaptability and collaborative spirit for working alongside staff and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and interventions that cater to individual student needs
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), tracking student progress
- Guide paraprofessionals and collaborate with related service providers
- Engage in regular communication with families to report progress and address concerns
- Foster a safe, positive learning environment that encourages self-advocacy
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
